We needed to figure how to make footbed comfortable for my husband. He wears a brace on left foot. We used two insoles to build up front of insole to make level with brace. We also added insole in right shoe to bring it level with left shoe. It might be good to add some cushioned insoles with shoes.

So far the SATURDAYS are my favorite shoe from Pandere (but sadly they didn’t have my size in stock in black) so I decided to take a chance with the Boleros. Size 7 (men’s) in the boleros were a perfect fit, and I probably could have even worn an 8 with thicker socks.
Comparison to sizing of the Saturday’s... size 7 in bolero is significantly smaller than 7 in Saturday.
My size 7mens/9womens in the Saturday’s are really too big and based on my foot measurements customer service suggested I get 6mens/8womens. Since Boleros sizing only starts with 7mens, I was worried that even them smallest size might have been too big too. I was told the body of the bolero is made smaller than the Saturday so I guess that’s what made the difference for my feet.

My wife bought these for me for a Christmas present. She was searching for something that would help my Milroy's syndrome. Neither of us thought about shoes specific for it. Love them and the customer service has been great.

I have short, wide feet with high arches. I chose the Bolero shoes because men's shoes are usually wider than women's. They fit great. My toes are just where they should be and there is no pinching anywhere. I just need to put inserts in for my arches. Finding shoes that fit me is like finding a unicorn. I'll be buying more of these in the future, different styles of course.

The shoes are comfortable from the moment I put them on. They are sturdy, well made, but had to adjust to how heavy they are. The tongue is a little soft and wants to roll when I put them on, but it may have been operator error.

My wife bought these shoes about a week or so ago; I wore them everyday since.. They are the most comfortable shoe I've ever worn. I love that I can adjust it to fit when my feet are swollen. The price is comparable also. My wife said the shoe made my feet look sexy.. I love them, & will definitely be getting another pair..

Below is what I wrote on the Lymphedema Facebook page
“I bought a pair of Pandere shoes.
The style I bought is Bolero.
The Bolero shoes are on sale .
Today is my 1st day to wear the Boleros.
I carried another pair of shoes with me, in case I had a problem with the Bolero shoe.
The Bolero shoes were very comfortable.
I’ve had them on for 10 hours without a problem.
I like the easy on/ easy off feature.
I like the adjustable cord

I had surgery last October, did not fix my foot, and I now have a brace, and these shoes enable me to wear the brace with comfort and are the best.

I bought these shoes for my father. He is 82 and has severe bunions and hammertoes. He has had a terrible time finding shoes that fit. He and my mother raved about these shoes!! My mother is now thinking about getting a pair. I have a feeling you have just made another repeat customer! Thanks much, Lisa

My feet and ankles tend to swell throughout the day with the left foot more swollen than the right. I like that I can adjust the shoes to adjust for the swelling. In additionI like that despite these differences my feet feel secure and comfortable in the shoes. It took me a couple of tries to come up with a technique to put the shoes on as the shoes look more narrow than my other shoes. When I discovered I could slide my feet right into them by sitting on my bed, putting my leg up on the bed and using my index finger in the inside of the heel to aid them sliding in it made me smile. Lots of room in the toe box to accommodate my hammer toes.
I have been looking for new shoes and took a chance that Pandere shoes would work for me and happily they have been a success. Like the look of them. They do not look like my grandmother's shoes.

I was not able to even get the shoes on.

Very good shoes just shy of excellence
Several months ago, I bought a pair of the Barista shoes and fell in love immediately. From concept through design, I couldn't have been more pleased with the product (I'm even wearing them now).
When I wrote the company to rave about the shoes, I mentioned my wish for a men's shoe like this that could be work on occasions that needed to be a little less casual -- that could go with slacks and a blazer, if not a suit, even. Pandere responded with The Bolero. I received mine a few weeks ago.
Admittedly, I do not like this shoe as much as I do the Barista. The base design doesn't seem to be as wide, hence they are not quite as comfortable for folks like me who have extremely wide feet and occasional swelling issues to boot. Arch support (I'm flat-footed) doesn't seem to do much, though the company does promote inserting other orthotic devices. But, even with these challenges, the shoe is quite comfortable even if for shorter periods of time. If the Baristas are an A+ shoe, the Boleros are an A-/B+ shoe.
I do not in any way regret the purchase, but I do hope the designers can address some of the fit issues when the next iteration of this shoe is unveiled.

very comftorable and supportive
Very nice shoe. Look of material and craftsmanship is excellent. The neoprene inside really comforts feet, like being wrapped in pillows. Great support. I have Diabetic Nephropathy so feet ache and swell. My feet do not ache with these and Love the easy to pull and adjust system as feet change in size with swelling. Be sure and confirm your Width size B thru E this is something I did not know was a thing, always just went by foot size. The site does not give a breakdown what foot width diameter falls into the various size catagory nor a how to measure. So if you do not know your base width size google to figure that out. You will want to know that and compare to the chart to what size they can expand too. I tried to bring this up in Chat, but that was a terrible experience. Not sure if it was system translation program with someone that did not understand English, the person or some AI kind of program trying to translate and reply.

At Long Last
Due to the unique skeletal structure of my feet I have always had to buy shoes that were too long for me. Once in a blue moon I found a pair of shoes that fit but mostly I just had to bite the bullet and wear uncomfortable and ill-fitting shoes. Until Pandere came along, that is. They adjust this way, they adjust that way and I've never worn more comfortable shoes. I look forward to seeing new styles as their product line grows but for now, I just want to thank them for taking the time to do something no one else has been able to do—provide a consistent, multi-size shoe for people with anomalies Thank you, Pandere!.
